Some of my earliest and most treasured memories are of sitting in my great-grandparents' kitchen, watching them sway to big band music as dinner simmered on the stove.
They taught me countless lessons, from the beauty of craftsmanship and hard work to the joy of tending a flower garden. But it was their love for one another that made the greatest impression.
Their marriage wasn’t defined by grand gestures, but by the quiet moments, the traditions they built together, and the life they created over time.
Perhaps that's why I have never viewed weddings as standalone events.
To me, a wedding is a reflection of everything that came before and a celebration of everything still to come. It’s where family history, personal stories, cherished traditions, and future dreams converge. It’s the first page of a new chapter and the continuation of countless chapters that came before it.
That perspective guides every wedding we design.

Kristen Zywicki
Owner, Creative Director + Director of Events
Kristen’s background is in design, which is why she sees weddings as a living composition. Within that composition, she strives to balance beauty with structure, creativity with logistics. The end result is a wedding that becomes an experience for you and your guests, and later a treasured memory.
With over 15 years of experience as a wedding planner in Charlotte, Kristen knows everything about weddings, so you don’t have to learn it yourself. She and her capable team will guide you through the process, making planning as joyful of an experience as the wedding day itself.
In her free time, Kristen loves: jiu-jitsu, gardening, oil painting, and tending to her flock of chickens (and her bees!)
Gianna Wolfe
Director of Events + On-Site Coordinator
Gianna excels as a wedding planner because she has a keen eye for logistics—after all, she majored in business—but also because she’s a romantic at heart. She’s deeply committed to learning your story, then incorporating details that reflect who you are and what you love.
Our couples say that Gianna takes the overwhelm out of wedding planning, helping them stay on track. And after the wedding day, they always tell us that “we didn’t have to worry about a thing—Gianna took care of it all.”
